Meet Pastor Jonathan

Pastor Jonathan is a man who loves Jesus Christ! He has an intense desire to help people discover their purpose and achieve the plans God has for their lives. He grew up the son of a Baptist preacher; however, he didn't get "saved" until his freshmen year of college. His passion for souls has helped him share the message of hope with hundreds of people. His humorous, yet insightful approach to sharing the Gospel, has allowed him to speak to people from all walks of life. He is a much sought after speaker and motivator who has the ability to inspire people and to motivate them to pursue God's best for their lives.

"Elder J", as he is affectionately known, is an ordained Elder and the Executive Administrator of Agape Family Worship Center (AFWC) located in Rahway, NJ, where Lawrence Powell is the Senior Pastor. His duties include financial oversight of a $4 million operating budget, and overseeing the daily operations of Agape Family Worship Center and it's over 50 ministries. On March 25, 2007, Jonathan and Kamili were commissioned by Pastor Powell and AFWC to plant a new church in Burlington Township, NJ. Destiny Family Worship Center held its first service on Easter Sunday April 8, 2007 at the Fountain Woods Elementary School in the township.

Pastor Jonathan is the president and founder of Organizational Enhancement Consultants, LLC, a leadership development, training, and consulting firm (www.enhanceyourorg.com). OEC specializes in strength-based learning tools that help organizations grow and individuals succeed. He earned an undergraduate degree in Marketing from North Carolina A&T State University and a Masters of Science in Organizational Leadership from Philadelphia Biblical University. He has been married to the lovely, Kamili, for nearly 10 years. Together, they are the proud parents of three children: Jael Alicia, Jonathan Mishael, and Joshua David. They reside in Burlington Township, NJ.
